Getting a lot of touches on the ball is crucial to improvement. This passing exercise gets your players a bunch of touches on a ball.

As I mentioned in my previous post regarding fitness, I prefer not to do much of it. I think that you can get more from players in terms of fitness by doing a lot of timed exercises. I like to do this exercise for 2 to 3 minutes at a time for 3 or 4 repetitions. During the minute or so break you can coach technique, spatial awareness, or whatever you feel is necessary!
